We are currently based in Glenwood Springs, CO, but we are willing to travel about anywhere for the right race.  We will consider any race that works with our schedule, but we REALLY love ultras!  We believe we can beat the prices of almost any company when it comes to ultras, because we charge very low rates for additional time at the event.  Additionally, we are always trying to expand the Ultraverse brand, therefore we are willing to work with Race Directors, providing discounts in exchange for sponsorships or brand exposure.

Chip Timing Service Rates

  • Base – $350 (setup, tear down)
  • $3/runner (chip programming)
  • First 50-miles are free, after that 65 cents/mile each way (1.30 one way)
  • For mileages over 600 round trip miles an additional $150 will be added for lodging.  Another $150 will be added for each additional 500-miles (round trip) thereafter.  For example, 700 miles RT=$150, 1100 miles RT = $300.
  • $20/hour from event start to finish.
  • 50% down at agreement signing, the rest due race morning before the race starts.

You likely won’t find prices as cheap as ours.  That being said, certain standards and race requirements must be met for our consideration – none of which are negotiable.

  • We need to be able to set up at least 3 hours prior to the event’s start.  Therefore, the starting arch must be present at that time.
  • Tags must be worn as we advise.
  • We must have space for our 10×10 pop-up close to the start/finish area.
  • Prices assume constant access to electricity.  If no power is present, we will bring OUR low dBA camping generator and an additional $9/hour will be charged for its use.
  • Runners should be corralled through the finish if no arch is present.  We can provide cones and chains for corralling the finish line for an additional $25.
  • We use both a timing mat and side antennas to achieve nearly 100% read rates and provide extremely accurate results.  We will typically use two systems simultaneously – one primary and one backup.  Our timing systems are top of the line and capable of accommodating races of any size.
  • No race day registration within 45 minutes of event start.

  • We will discount our price $100 for having our logo on the official race shirt.
  • If interested, we can provide Proxima C Endurance Fuel below our cost as the official electrolyte/carbohydrate drink.
    • No other brands can be carried if this is the case.
    • Certain requirements for mixing must be met if this is to be considered as well.
    • Proxima will be provided at $10/container ($40 retail).
    • At least 2 containers must be mixed/5-gallon jug (3 is ideal).
    • Pre-race announcement that Proxima C will be the official fuel (with link) via FB or email is also required.
